Good news: Your iX Developer 2.x license key works for iX Developer 3.x.
Note: iX Developer 3 is the software used to program X3 HMI panels running the OS3 operating system. Please be aware that iX Developer 3 does not support X2 HMI panels.

What's new in iX Developer 3.0 build 3.0.392:
The X3 hardware will soon be launched and you can start converting your projects today. Make sure your HMI panels are always upgraded to the latest version of the firmware image to take advantage of all security updates and bug fixes. Please find details in the release notes online.
