- The reason for having two distinct firmware files lies in the advantages of using a firmware file that aligns with the existing Vendor Id of the GL-9087 device, whether it is 0x0000 or 0x05D4. This approach can eliminate the need to replace the device description (XML) within the programming tool, and thereby streamlining the process of upgrading firmware.
Note! Only to be used in combination with GL-9087 hardware rev. 1.00.
- This update is correcting the Watchdog issue.
- Please read attached instruction how to upgrade the ProfiNet IO node.
